Whey permeate is a product obtained from ultrafiltration of whey by concentration processes of evaporation, crystallization and drying

Our whey permeate powder is advantageous as it can replace conventional whey, skimmed milk and lactose powders, and because it ensures easy dosage and standardized production for the customer.

With its butter and milk flavor and its nutritional composition, it can replace both dairy solids (whey powder, skimmed milk powder and lactose powder) in various applications and be used to reduce the content of sucrose and added salt.

The spraying plant follows an alternative process (from spray dryer) patented by DWB Proteins Srl.

Thanks to this innovative process, our product stands out from the rest for:

High flowability

thanks to the high degree of lactose crystallization >96% which makes it non-hygroscopic (crystallization of spray dryer is around 85%)

High solubility (instant)
High colour stability (low browning index)

and does not present burnt particles (use of low temperatures unlike the spray dryer)
